Andrew Gear is a brand strategist and the founder of HRZN, a London branding agency working with funded startups and scale-ups from Seed to Series B.
He trained as an architect before moving into branding, and the discipline carried over: things worth building should be designed to last and to hold up under change. Most brands aren't, they're built for a moment, and the moment moves. Future-Focused Branding, the methodology behind everything HRZN builds, is his answer to that: brands built as adaptive systems, modular and scalable, designed to evolve with a business through each funding stage rather than be replaced.
He is also the founder of Inzo, an AI-powered brand companion that helps teams stay consistent as they scale. Andrew writes and speaks on brand strategy for growing companies, appeared on the British Library's Start-up Stars panel, and is writing a book on the future-focused approach to modern branding. He is based in London and works with brands across the UK and internationally.
